Writing and reviewing restaurants of NYC is an absolute pleasure for no city in the world offers such a luxury of varied tastes of talent and quality. Every once in awhile there is even an exception; a new discovery which is always a surprise and that is what I found in my recent experience at the newly opened La Silhouette Restaurant NYC.
Tucked away in the middle of the block on West 53rd Street between 8th and 9th Avenues; La Silhouette offers the incredible talent of their award winning Team: Sally Chironis and Tito Rahman, former Manager and Maitre d’ of Le Bernardin are the owners and most gracious hosts to all patrons. The very friendly and knowledgeable Wine Sommelier is Doreen Winkler; honestly I was quite impressed with her professionalism, service delivery, knowledge and presentation! The Chef is David Malbequi who is an amazing talent specializing in innovative modern French cuisine. The interior space is an array of various rooms of different sizes and atmosphere offering an environment suitable for just about every occasion.
La Silhouette is open daily for dinner; lunch/brunch on Saturdays and Sundays and is terribly handy to all New York Broadway Theaters: Exact location is: 362 West 53rd Street between 8th and 9th Avenues. Telephone: (212) 581-2400
